The popular Indian television program Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s production company, Neela Films, has declared its intention to enter the gaming industry.
The corporation has established Neela Mediatech Pvt Ltd, a new business venture with a ₹24 Crore investment that is centered on gaming, animation, and e-commerce.
By March 2024, they hope to have downloaded 100 million games. The business has launched “TMKOC Play,” a gaming platform that promises to bring back the cherished TV characters from the show while providing an engaging gaming environment.
Free-to-play games, cloud-based missions, blockchain-powered adventures, and virtual reality experiences will all be available on this platform. Neela Mediatech also intends to provide children’s animated programs and rhymes.
With fifteen games accessible in English, Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, and Bengali, the gaming section has had a strong premiere. For Android smartphones, users can download the games via the Play Store.
The app has already received five million downloads. “Jump Bhide Jump,” “Run Jetha Run,” “Bhide Scooter Race,” and other games are available.
